The Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works (DPW) has convened the Our wAAter Public Advisory Group to provide input on DPW’s Integrated Management Plan for long-term nutrient management and each of the five Our wAAter program components.
We serve to promote transparency in DPW's infrastructure planning decisions by giving feedback to DPW and by providing information to others in the community. The mission of the Our wAAter Public Advisory Group is to provide input and public perspective on behalf of Anne Arundel County residents to the Department of Public Works (DPW) as they implement the Our wAAter program.
We serve as advisors to DPW as they develop and begin to implement innovative and cost-effective programs designed to address regulatory requirements and future needs for drinking water, wastewater, and water resource protection.

The Public Advisory Group is made up of Anne Arundel County residents who volunteer their time to perform a critical role in promoting public awareness and involvement in DPW’s planning process. DPW is committed to appointing enthusiastic individuals of all interests and backgrounds to serve on this committee.

The anticipated time commitment for involvement in the Public Advisory Group will include quarterly meetings that will occur over the next two years and would be scheduled during weekday evenings.
